I chose View Bungalow for its great location near the places I wanted to visit in Ubud. The fact that they had an outdoor pool, a restaurant, and spa services available was a pleasant surprise. It added an extra touch of relaxation and convenience to my stay.
Everything. 100% not worth it.

The walls/ceilings were very thin. Would have been able to understand the conversation in the room above us had it been in English. Bathroom was broken, the shower head did not have a bracket for the wall.

The only really pleasant thing about the place was Gusti, who was in charge of the reception. He was very friendly and took good care of us upon arrival and during our very short stay.
The place was described very nicely on the website mentioning views on rice fields, nice rooms and facilities. But the reality is that the place is old and run down, partly under construction as a new building is being put up, messy, dirty, with no view on anything but walls, no facilities except for the pool and with a breakfast that was a far cry from what you usually expect and get in Bali. We had booked two rooms next to each other, as we were travelling with two small children, but ended up in two different buildings no separate levels. When we decided to check out after one night, a couple of the staff got quite nasty. And finally, our credit card was charged twice for the one night stay.

The location is great, plenty to do within walking distance. The bali dancing in the temple (3 minute walk, lots of shops and a range of restaurants) (glad we did not stay in Ubud itself as extremely busy and only a 20 minute walk) breakfast being served on the 'balcony' of your room. Our room had a lovely view over the pool (but not all rooms have this). Staff was friendly. It is basic but that is what we like and what the price reflects. Great pool for adults. You really feel you are in Bali. Internet cafe around the corner where you can also book flights.
On arrival the room smelled a bit damp... After a day with lots of open doors and windows this had dissapeared. Could have had a cupboard in the room, but otherwise perfect for us.... Would go back

The value for money at this hotel is very nice - huge rooms, lovely pool area, and well-decorated. The staff were lovely and were really good too make our stay amazing. Definitely recommend!
The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast options, maybe add more variety.

Loction is quite good, only 10 minute's walk to the Monkey Forest. Overall, it's good value for the money but don't expect too much.

The rooms at Ubud View Bungalow were cozy and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. I stayed in a room with air conditioning, which was a relief in the Bali heat. The free WiFi and safe in the room were convenient for a tech-savvy traveler like me. Plus, the private balcony offered a beautiful view of the paddy fields. I had a wonderful and relaxing stay.
Personally, I would have preferred if all rooms had air conditioning. But I understand that some guests might enjoy the natural breeze from the fan.

We loved the personal and cute atmosphere, kind staff, and lovely pool. The breakfast brought to our room each day was a good touch. The clean rooms and pretty grounds made for a comfortable stay. Great location, especially for yoga enthusiasts.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.
